Alison Davis-Blake, the former business school dean at the Universities of Michigan and Minnesota who has devoted her career to scholarship and teaching, was inaugurated as the eighth president of Bentley University in a ceremony attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni and other members of the extended Bentley community. Davis-Blake had been chosen to lead Bentley into its second century, continuing the university’s remarkable rise from an accounting day-school on Boylston Street in Boston to one of the nation’s top business schools.
